When TRWG owner Kathleen Mathieu wrote her first nursing annual report more than ten years ago, she had no idea that she was about to expand her professional horizons in a very big way. That experience and other opportunities to write about and promote the nursing profession have resulted in a specialty of which she is particularly proud – and notably enthusiastic.

“Honoring nurses and nursing staffs in a meaningful manner has become a passion of mine,” she said. “That’s not just because nursing topics are interesting, sophisticated and often technical, although I do enjoy the challenge of working with nursing documents and other written communications. Just as important is the feeling that, in my own modest and humble way, I am helping further the cause of professional nursing while telling the stories of individual nurses. I also have enjoyed following developments in Magnet nursing.”
